Etienne has worked in the Geographic Information System and Information Technology fields for more than 10 years mainly as a GIS specialist, web application analyst and developer, and database specialist.  Before his participation on the Percan Project, he was also involved in another CIDA project in Latin America at the Instituto de Investigacion e Informacion Geocientifica, Minero-Ambiental y Nuclear (INGEOMINAS) in Colombia.  Etienne holds a Bachelor's degree in Geomatic Engineering and is finalizing a Masters degree in Geomatic Sciences from Laval University in Quebec City, Canada.
