Anne Slivitzky (2009 - 2011)


Geologist with 25 years of experience, she started off by doing various geological mapping contracts for the Quebec Department of Natural Resources as well as small geo-technical evaluations for different consulting firms. In 1985 she joined the Roche Ltd Consulting group, as project manager and successively occupied the positions of assistant manager for the Mines and Geology Division, Project Coordinator for the Project Management Division as well as project manager for Roche International for projects in Canada and abroad. In 1995 she worked for Mazarin Mining Corporation as Vice-President Investor Relations, then in 1996, for Normabec Mining as Vice-President-Exploration with projects in Chile and Argentina. In 1998 she became President of Maude Lake Exploration. She is the past president of the Quebec Prospector's Association (now known as the Quebec Mineral Exploration Association) and also sits on the board of PDAC. In addition she had sit on the Montreal local advisory committee for TSX Venture. Ms. Slivitzky holds a Bachelor's degree (1979) and a Masters degree (1982) in Geology from Laval University in Quebec City, as well as a Masters degree (1988) in Project Management from the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières.
