What is PERCAN?
It is a government-to-government agreement between Peru and Canada with the following objectives:
  • Institutional stengthening of the mining sector,
  • Support of the decentralization process,
  • Promotion of the sustainable development of the Peruvian mining regions.

Principles


  • Participation of stakeholders in a continuous, consultative, and constructive dialogue,
  • Development of an iterative and adaptative project,
  • Development of multi-modular activities with an interdisciplinary team.

Strategic Objective


  • To contribute to the sustainable management of natural resources.
